These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of myumbrellabooks.com and to the text-messaging program run by Umbrella Bookkeeping, LLC, doing business as Umbrella Nonprofit Services (“Umbrella,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or opting in to our text messages, you agree to these Terms.
Our Services
Our website provides information about the bookkeeping, accounting, and grant-management services we offer to nonprofit organizations. Work we do for clients is covered by a separate written engagement agreement. If these Terms conflict with a client’s engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls.
Using Our Website
The information on our website is general and is not accounting, tax, or legal advice for your organization’s specific situation until we have agreed in writing to work with you. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with how it works, or try to access it in ways we have not authorized. The content on this website belongs to Umbrella or its licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without our permission.
Text Messaging Terms
Program description
Umbrella Nonprofit Services sends and receives text messages with our clients and with people who contact us about our services. Messages include replies to your questions, appointment scheduling and reminders, requests for documents or information, and filing or deadline reminders. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Opting in
You agree to receive text messages from us when you text our office number, when you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages during client onboarding, or when you ask a member of our team to contact you by text. Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of doing business with us. You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of the mobile number, or have the account holder’s permission, to opt in.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and conversations with our team. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages from us. We will send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not text you again unless you opt back in by replying START.

Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Changing your number
If you change or give up the mobile number you used to opt in, please let us know so we can stop sending messages to that number.
Privacy
We do not share, sell, or rent mobile phone numbers or other mobile information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
Disclaimers
Our website is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be complete, current, or free of errors or interruptions.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Umbrella is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that result from your use of this website or our text-messaging program. This section does not limit any obligations we have under a client’s engagement agreement.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on this page and change the effective date above.
